Patriotische Gefühle für Italien, kann man auch als Auslandsdeutscher haben. Für die netten Leute die über Google auf der Suche nach der italienischen Nationalhymne seit gestern auf meinem Blog landen, hier gibt es die Nationalhymne von Italien als mp3-Klingelton für das Handy. Wem die Version zu schnell sein sollte, der findet hier auch noch eine langsamere Variante. Weil ich schon dabei bin, hier findet sich der Original-Text des Liedes (mit deutscher Übersetzung) und dem weiteren Background dazu. Eine schön gemachte Website zur "inno nazionale", auch "Il canto degli Italiani" genannt, stammt vom Quirinale, dem Sitz des italienischen Staatspräsidenten.

Goffredo Mameli wrote the text for Italy’s national anthem Fratelli d’Italia, whereas the music originates from Michele Novaro. You might want to read the text of this song in full (there is also an English translation) or you could visit this very nice website titled "L’inno nazionale", where you find all about Italy’s national anthem "Il canto degli Italiani" made available by the Palazzo del Quirinale, the residence of the Italian president.
